BLDC is nothing but a Brushless Direct Current motor. Other types of motors have brushes that can wear and tear over time but BLDC motors do not have them. Because they do not use brushes, these kinds of motors operate with the assistance of electronic controls. And inside the motor is a tiny computer (aka a microprocessor). This computer is v very important because it controls the motor. On the downside, BLDC motors have some disadvantages. It could be costlier than the normal DC motors, which is one of the disadvantages. Furthermore, BLDC motor control can be rather complex. They are more powerful to create but take much practice and not everyone may be familiar with their operation.
